
Assistant Bilingual Representative
Supports communication and engagement between the PTO and families who speak languages other than English. This role helps ensure that all families feel informed. welcomed, and included in school activities and decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Language Support and Meeting Support

Assist in translating PTO materials, flyers, announcements, and event information into the appropriate language(s)

Attend PTO meetings and support real time translation or summaries when needed, so bilingual families can fully engage.

Family Communication and Cultural Inclusion

Help communicate with bilingual families, answer questions, and encourage participation in school events and PTO meetings.

Advocate for culturally responsive practices and help the PTO plan inclusive events that reflect the diversity of the school community
