About Me
Hello, I'm Kassandra Dorado. As a proud parent of three and a graduate of Palm Springs Unified school District, my journey with PSUSD both personal and professional. My daughter has already graduated from Palm Springs High School, and my sons are kicking off their senior year at Palm Springs High.
My Role
I currently teach 1st grade at Cahuilla Elementary and am a member of the Family Engagement Teacher Advisory Committee (FETAC). In addition to teaching, I've been an active parent volunteer and understand challenges and rewards of staying engaged in our children's education.
Commitment
I'm passionate about helping other families find that same balance supporting their students while staying involved and connected. I believe that strong school-family partnerships lead to better outcomes for everyone, and I'm committed to creating spaces where parents feel welcomed, informed, and empowered to take part in their child's educational journey.
